We are currently looking for a Director- Asset Reliability for our Houston, TX or Owensboro, KY office.  

 

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

 

This position is responsible for the overall reliability program for pipeline operations in the areas of gas measurement, compression, automation & controls, and maintenance/reliability analytics. Establishes and assures compliance with operation and maintenance policies, practices, and procedures, as well as all federal, state, and local laws as they apply to the company.  Facilitates and coordinates support and engineering activities of the asset reliability group with field operations and gas control, engineering & construction, system planning, and system optimization.  Responsible for the prioritization, planning, administration and control of capital and expense budgets.  

 

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

 

  • 10-15 years in natural gas pipeline transmission
  • 7+ years previous management experience
  • Experience in reliability program development and implementation
  • Background in pipeline operations, gas measurement, automation or compression
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Effective teamwork across multiple groups
  • Leadership of geographically dispersed teams

 

PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Leadership of other formal leaders
  • Risk-based funding prioritization
  • Predictive maintenance & condition monitoring usage
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
  • Operations and/or project management experience
  • Tactical project scoping
  • Strong presentation skills and comfort presenting to leadership and large groups

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
