We are currently looking for an Engineer I/II/III/Sr for our Baton Rouge, LA or Lafayette, LA office.

 

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

 

Optimize the performance of Boardwalk’s caverns at Bayou Choctaw, Napoleonville, and Sulphur on the BLM system.  This includes all aspects of cavern storage.  Including new cavern design and development, drilling, inventory verification, MIT testing, casing inspection logging, cavern modeling, workover design and implementation, and daily injection and withdrawal strategy.  Working with state and federal agencies on all aspects of natural gas and liquid storage.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

 

  • Knowledgeable in drilling and workovers
  • Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft products
  • Able to work with a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • BS in Petroleum Engineering

 

PREFERRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE:

 

  • 2-10 year’s experience in cavern storage
  • Proficient in cavern or reservoir modeling.

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

 

  • Bachelor’s of Science in Petroleum Engineering
