Sr. Program Manager
TekPro Support Services, LLC (TSS) is searching for a Senior Program Manager to support our ongoing missions based in Huntsville, AL or Washington D.C. area. The Senior Program Manager is responsible for implementing and managing programs, managing relationships with key customer portfolios, and identifying new business opportunities to establish partnerships.
What You’ll Do:
- Identifying potential government contracts aligned with the company's capabilities, assessing the competitive landscape, and analyzing customer requirements to determine winnable opportunities.
- Plan the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization
- Develop and implement plans and assure the overall success of project field operations
- Responsible for project performance, including identifying and implementing corrective action and ensuring overall contractual compliance and client satisfaction with performance.
- Will establish, implement and enforce policies and procedures in compliance with corporate standards and relevant laws and regulations.
- Understands contractual requirements and executes Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, Task Orders, Safety Plans, and other project-related plans and procedures.
- Responsible for field operations, other management, staff and sub-contractors; ensuring that they are safely, efficiently and effectively executing contract tasks; facilitates teamwork among project staff; provides direction and supervision as necessary.
- Responsible for subordinate management and staff and for recognition and rewards for top performers, fiscal controls and ROI objectives.
- Develop funding proposals for the program to ensure the continuous delivery of services
- Supports business growth objectives by leading, writing, and developing the final production of responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Quotes (RFQ). In addition, the Manager is responsible for participating in the production and development of all volumes to include management, technical, past performance, and price volumes.
- Actively monitoring competitor activity, analyzing their strengths and weaknesses, and adapting the capture strategy accordingly.
- Following up with the customer after proposal submission, addressing any questions or concerns, and preparing for potential contract negotiations.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
- Active DoD Secret Clearance highly preferred
- 8-10 years of relevant experience required
- Deep understanding of federal procurement regulations (FAR/DFARS) and contracting vehicles.
- Proven experience in federal government contracting, particularly managing large contracts.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market dynamics and competitive landscapes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate capture strategies to internal stakeholders
- Leadership abilities to manage and motivate cross-functional teams
- Technical expertise in relevant industry sectors depending on the company's focus
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
