GIS Specialist

STS Solutions and Training (SST) seeks an experienced and onsite GIS specialist with technical expertise in Geospatial Information Systems (GIS). 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Expertise with mapping programs including ArcGIS
• Data collection, organization, and presentation.
• Business writing.
• Cross-functional collaborations.
• Customer interactions.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience mapping using GIS software
• Technical expertise using GIS software including ArcGIS
• Experience working cross functionally to gather and map data
• Effective at data audits and problem solving
• Strong written and oral communication skills and proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel and ACCESS) is required.
• Ability to successfully pass a federal agency background check is required.
• Individuals already possessing an adjudicated National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) are preferred as well as prior AF experience.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
