Systems and Training Manager - DS Residential Centralized Costs

Bay Cove pursues this mission by providing individualized and compassionate services to people facing the challenges associated with developmental disabilities, mental illness, substance use disorders, and homelessness at more than 175 program sites throughout Greater Boston and Southeastern Massachusetts.
Job Summary:
The Systems and Training Manager provides varied training, services and support to the Program Managers and their programs in Developmental Services. This job promotes effectiveness and maximizes efficiency among all service programs.
This is an exempt position.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Administrative Program Managers
- Training Coordinator
Essential Functions of the Position:
- Provides training to Program Directors/Managers, Senior Management and other DS staff on implementation of internal systems and best practices.
- Assists with other training functions such as scheduling, securing trainers, room setup, etc.
- Assists with the coordination and implementation of all Quality Assurance functions.
- Works closely with Administrative Program Managers and acts as hiring liaison to Human Resources for centralized hiring positions.
- Works closely with the Systems & Training Coordinator to manage the Relias platform.
- Coordinates special projects and events.
- Assists with completion of proposals and policies.
- Assists in facilitating development of systems, operational activities and communication.
- Assists with setup of new programs and apartments.
- Ensure adherence to regulations-DDS, DPH, ABI, MRC, MassHealth, DPH, MAP, etc.
Requirements for the Position:
- BA/BS in Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, or related field with at least 7 years experience in the human service field.
- Knowledge of current practice standards in the long term support service delivery system.
- Demonstrated professional writing, interpersonal, communication, oral presentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet preparation.
- CPR/SFA, Mandt certification within 90 days of employment.
- Valid Driver's license.
- Use of personal cell phone and/or vehicle.
