The Social Media Specialist is responsible for the wellbeing of a dealership's social footprint across numerous platforms. This position will work with dealerships to plan, execute, optimize, and report on social media content, strategy and paid ads campaigns.

Know Your Stuff - Be a Student of the Business

Develop and demonstrate subject matter knowledge:

• Maintain a working knowledge of our dealerships' social media marketing, including social strategy and budget.

• Research industry trends, new tools, and technologies to stay at the forefront of the latest developments in digital marketing and effectively implement new digital media ideas and applications.

• Demonstrate expertise in digital media planning/optimization tools and methodologies including Facebook Ads and Business Manager.

• Exhibit deep knowledge of all Facebook ad campaigns and social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat and Twitter.

Prove You Care

Perform quality work in support of the organizational North Star: "to be the most guest-centric automotive retailer:

• Develop and manage social media marketing campaigns, both through paid and organic efforts.

• Demonstrate ability to turn client goals into a social strategy and carry out tactics needed to make campaigns successful.

• Devise strategies to drive online traffic to the company website.

• Generate campaign performance reports, provide analysis, and execute on that analysis to ensure positive ROI where appropriate.

• Write social posts/ads, build graphics, and edit videos.

• Utilize Google Analytics to analyze traffic and make optimizations based on user behavior and ad relevance.

• Perform other duties, as assigned.

Share information, requests, and acknowledgements professionally and clearly:

• Coordinate clearly and consistently with other team members involved in marketing projects.

• Collaborate with the creative department to ensure that messaging is on target with campaign and audience goals.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Maintain valid driver’s license and MVR within company policy requirements
  • Expertise in graphic design, ability to utilize Adobe Photoshop and other design software required
