The primary role of the Controller Position is to maintain responsibility for the financial condition of the dealership and direct the overall financial planning, budgeting and accounting practices. As with all positions within dealerships, managers are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards.  

  • Assist GM, Market Controller and Regional Controller with the financial affairs of the dealership. 
  • Oversee the activities of the accounting department for the accurate and timely month end close process. 
  • Review, clean and maintain all accounting schedules.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely submission of semi- monthly payroll for processing, process all monthly commissions and ensure all pay is in accordance to the current pay plan on file for all employees. 
  • Review and report all safegaurd issues to Risk Management team. 
  • Run weekly asset management meetings. 
  • Hold daily huddles with accounting department. 
  • Mantain company files
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to all policies. 
  • Perform all other job duties as requested by management. 
  • Demand the highest ethical standards from self and others
  • Set an example of a positive attitude and professionalism.
