About the Role
In this leadership position as a Residential House Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations in a residential home for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You’ll ensure that residents receive personalized support, while supervising staff and maintaining a safe, nurturing environment.
Schedule: Tuesday 11a-7p, Wednesday 9a-5p, Thursday & Friday 11a-7p, and Saturday 11a-6p
Pay Range: $23.00 - $23.65
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and support direct care staff, ensuring quality care and adherence to policies.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including meal prep, hygiene, and medication management.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and positive home environment for residents.
- Monitor residents' progress and develop individualized care plans.
- Manage scheduling, training, and performance evaluations for staff.
- Foster community engagement by supporting residents in social and recreational activities.
Who You Are:

- Experienced in working with individuals with disabilities in a residential setting.
What You Need to Succeed:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must meet, at minimum, one of the following criteria:

- Possession of a valid vocational nurse or psychiatric technician license issued by the Board of Vocational Nurse and Psychiatric Technician Examiners.
- Completion of at least 30 college or university units in education, social services, behavioral sciences, health sciences, or related fields, AND six (6) months experience providing direct support to developmentally disabled persons.
- Eighteen (18) months experience providing direct services to developmentally disabled person under the supervision of a qualified intellectual disability professional
- Valid CA Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist residents with mobility needs.
- Strong skills in scheduling, documentation, and team leadership.
Bonus Points If You:
- Have experience with electronic case management systems (Therap preferred).
- Have prior experience in staff training and development.
