Assistant Account Manager - LifeBalance

SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting and enhancing LifeBalance client relationships. Focuses on supporting account executives by handling day-to-day tasks needed to maintain client relationships, and working on various client/member/vendor onboarding, engagement, and communications needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintains and enhances client relationships in order to facilitate client renewal and employee engagement by handling communications with clients as needed, sharing content and promotional materials, and developing an understanding of each clients’ unique background and needs
• Supports Account Executive with maintenance on assigned clients and helps to enhance client relationships to facilitate client renewal and employee engagement
• Acts as direct point of contact for assigned clients, and as a secondary/supporting contact for additional clients
• Generates utilization reports for assigned clients
• Manages LifeBalance database records for assigned clients, entering new client information or updating existing client information as needed
• Works with the Operations Coordinator to ensure clients are invoiced correctly and provides the necessary information needed to be added to Client Central
• Handles follow up for assigned clients when payment is not received
• Modifies existing communications pieces to create client-specific content for clients to leverage in promoting LifeBalance. Content may include welcome emails, power point slides, program overviews, and more
• Assists in vendor outreach and recruitment, establishing new savings partnerships or updating relevant discount information for existing vendor partnerships
• Leverages a variety of tactics to nurture potential partnerships and establish savings, including cold calls, emails, and presentations
• Manages database entries for assigned LifeBalance vendors, entering new vendor information or updating vendor information in the database as necessary
• Assists in quarterly vendor maintenance outreach
• Curates relevant local discount information to share with clients on a regular basis
• Handles client customer service escalation issues
• Leverages creative, strategic thinking to overcome obstacles and stay organized
• Refers new brands with interest in paid placement to ad sales team.
• Understands the LifeBalance business model and identifies areas of cross-promotion within other Alliant teams
• Communicates effectively with marketing/engagement, ad sales, member services, client services, IT, and other LifeBalance departments/team members to ensure the success of each partnership
• Performs all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Two (2) or more years of experience in an account manager, assistant account manager, or similar client-support role
SKILLS
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Proficient with MailChimp, Constant Contact, or other email-marketing platform preferred
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite preferred
Verbal and written communication skills
Problem solving and time management skills
Planning, organizational and prioritization skills
