Position Summary:

Albright College seeks a dynamic and strategic Corporate Relations Manager to lead the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of corporate partners in support of the College’s institutional priorities. This position will proactively manage a portfolio of corporate prospects and partners to secure sponsorships, philanthropic support, in-kind gifts, and collaborative partnerships that advance student success, career development, academic programs, and campus initiatives.

 

Working closely with Advancement leadership, academic departments, career development, and athletics, the Corporate Relations Manager will develop and execute comprehensive engagement strategies that align corporate interests with Albright’s mission and strategic goals.


 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate partners to support institutional priorities through philanthropic gifts, sponsorships, and in-kind contributions.
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of corporate prospects, creating customized engagement and proposal strategies.
  • Lead corporate sponsorship fundraising for key fundraising events, Homecoming, and Commencement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify partnership opportunities tied to academic programs, athletics, internships, events, and strategic initiatives.
  • Track corporate engagement activity in the CRM (Slate) and ensure timely stewardship and recognition.
  • Stay informed on trends in corporate philanthropy and sponsorship, applying best practices to strategy and outreach.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to identify funding opportunities that align with institutional needs and corporate priorities.

 


 

Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in fundraising, corporate relations, business development, or related fields
  • Demonstrated success in securing financial commitments or sponsorships from corporate partners
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Slate preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for donor engagement and events


Preferred

  • Experience in a higher education or nonprofit setting
  • Familiarity with regional corporate and philanthropic landscapes, especially in the Greater Reading and Berks County area
  • Knowledge of best practices in donor cultivation and stewardship

Salary is commensurate with experience and competitive with peer institutions.
