About the Role
As the Assistant Director you will coordinate all school operations, including financial planning, community outreach, relationship-building, staffing and teacher development. This position is an amazing opportunity to dive deep into the administrative side of the school campus while also developing a strong community and guiding teacher development as we seek to continuously improve our educational methods.
Most importantly, our schools embrace a culture of care—physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually, both in and out of the classroom. This position will play a critical role in guiding this culture to ensure a community where children are at the center of everything we do, and creating an optimal learning environment that is safe, welcoming, and well-organized.
This position is for our Stratford School Beresford campus located in Milpitas, CA 95035
What We Are Looking For

A Bachelor’s degree with a major or emphasis in Child Development or similar field

Minimum one year of experience in a school leadership position (Principal, Assistant Principal, Team Leader, or similar)

One year of previous teaching experience

Knowledge of state education and licensing standards and maintains validation of credentials for the position
