Summary/Purpose
To provide mechanical and electrical repair coverage for all plant operations as well as any facility electrical or mechanical issues. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, complete assigned projects, and assist other maintenance personnel as required.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities: 
•    Trained In General Safety Including LOTO & Arc Flash
•    Trained In Multimeter Use On AC/DC Voltages, Ohms, Millivolts/Milliamps, Diode Checks
•    Blueprint Reading, Wiring Diagrams, Electrical Schematics
•    Efficient Troubleshooting Skills
•    Knowledge of 3 Phase Power at Various Voltages
•    Wire Up Transformers for Various Input and Output Voltages
•    Service AC/DC Voltages Ranging from Millivolts to 480V 3 Phase
•    Start Up, Operate and Troubleshoot Various Industrial Equipment and Processes
•    Able to plan and perform minor and major repairs/rebuilding of equipment
•    Maintaining the availability of machine repair components as well as a machine repair history
•    Use hand tools, power tool and precision measuring tools
•    Responsible to keep the work area clean and safe
•    Perform Preventative and Predictive Maintenance
•    Use of TMS (Maintenance Management Software)
•    Operation of Plant Services Equipment
•    Metal Fabrication and welding
•    Basic Plumbing & Carpentry Skills
•    Shaft Alignment, Motor, Pump & Gearbox Repair
•    Bearing Replacement, Gasket, & Seal Replacement
•    Sprockets, Sheaves, Chains, Pullets, Belts & Drive Systems
•    Pneumatic and hydraulic Systems
•    Ability to work weekends and overtime as requested by Manager

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
•    Prior manufacturing experience
•    Must be able to read blueprints and layouts 
•    Must have moderate electrical skills and computer skills
•    Good problem solving/troubleshooting skills, good team building skills and effective communication skills
•    This position will require moderate to heavy physical requirements
•    Knowledge of Facility Utilities

Education and Experience: 
•    High School Diploma or G.E.D. Required
•    2-year Technical School Degree in Electronics or Industrial Maintenance Preferred 
•    Participation in Maintenance Educational Development Program Will be Required to Supplement no Degree

•    This position has an exposure to moderate noise levels, moving mechanical parts, electrical power distribution and controls, compressed air systems, hydraulic systems, steam distribution and generation, water, various types of lubricants, chemical and wash baths, extreme heat, mechanical machine operation, etc. 
•    Will be regularly required to climb, stand, sit, and reach with hands, fingers, and arms.  
•    Occasional stooping, kneeling, and crouching are required. 
•    This position requires regular lifting of work up to 40 pounds, and push or pulling work up to 125 pounds with proper equipment.
