Director, Integrated Operations
Job Summary
The Director of Integrated Operations will lead all aspects of manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain operations at our specialty manufacturing site. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, aligning resources, and delivering measurable results across productivity, efficiency, and profitability. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and hands-on, ensuring daily operations are executed effectively while helping to shape and implement long-term plans to support the company's growth and customer satisfaction goals.
Essential Job Functions *
- Safety Leadership: Champion a safety-first culture by proactively identifying risks, enforcing policies, and embedding safety practices into all operations.
- Team Leadership & Performance: Lead, coach, and develop managers and frontline supervisors to ensure effective day-to-day operations. Provide direct support and performance feedback to address issues and maximize productivity.
- Strategic Execution: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute the site’s strategic plan. Translate high-level goals into operational objectives, tools, and processes.
- Financial Oversight: Manage departmental budgets, including labor and material costs, to ensure fiscal responsibility and adherence to financial goals.
- Operational Excellence: Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and output. Develop and implement new metrics as necessary.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across the organization—including engineering, quality, supply chain, and customer service—to align resources and achieve operational targets.
- Employee Engagement: Foster a collaborative, respectful work environment focused on accountability, communication, and professional development. Support cross-training and team development initiatives.
- Capital & Process Improvement: Evaluate and recommend capital investments and system/process improvements to enhance operational capabilities and meet evolving business needs.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing, distribution, and supply chain operations.
- Proven success in leading multi-functional teams and managing complex operations at the plant or site level.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving cost efficiencies.
- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and leverage data for decision-making.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
