Job Summary

 

The Manager, Learning & Organizational Development drives the design and execution of development programs for salaried employees, with future expansion to hourly populations. The Manager, Learning & Organizational Development focuses on leadership development, team effectiveness, and scalable learning experiences aligned with business goals.

 

Essential Job Functions *

 

  • Design and deliver enterprise-wide development and leadership programs.
  • Manages Dayforce Learning LMS.
  • Consult with managers to identify skill/knowledge gaps and identify training needs via needs assessments to develop training courses, curriculum, and materials, and deliver and evaluate training sessions.
  • Develop learning strategies that align with business capability needs.
  • Select training tools or training delivery mechanisms, based on the target audience.
  • Measure program impact and continuously improve effectiveness.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Lead the build-out of career development resources and frameworks.

Education & Experience

 

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Leadership, Business, Training and Development, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience developing and delivering training programs.
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Leadership, Business, Training and Development, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience developing and delivering training programs.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience applying Organization and Development practices.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven effective management skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of learning theories and technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective training curriculum and generate courses.
  • Knowledge of E-learning options and LMS capabilities.
  • Proven knowledge of various organizational development tools and sources.
  • Knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, and Google Docs.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Excellent oral and written, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent Course Design skills.
  • Conceptual thinking skills.
  • Project management skills.
