Responsibilities:

• Verify received merchandise with the invoice orders, POs, BOLs and ensure compliance of all necessary paperwork for the receipt of goods and that all received goods reach DO & CO quality and standards.
• Maintain and oversee the records of all received goods and supplies.
• Monitor supplier performance, on-time deliveries, meeting company quality & specifications.
• Distribute merchandise internally according to food safety rules and storage orders and make sure all delivered meat and fish products are weighed.
• Adhere to the HACCP and all other food safety rules (e.g. FIFO, date marking, correct storage etc.)
• Ensure compliance of all necessary paperwork for the receipt of goods and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience with storing and handling merchandise in the food industry
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, heavy workload and standing for a prolonged period of time as necessary
• Ability to move, lift, carry, pull or push as needed
• Ability to manage and motivate a team
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• High level of self-organization, work exact and quality-oriented
• Ability to work in a cold or hot environment
• Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays)
