Senior Manager, FP&A

 

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Senior Manager, FP&A within our Corpay division. This position falls under our corporate payments line of business and is located onsite. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis of company financials and metrics. You will report directly to Manager, FP&A and regularly collaborate with leaders in the organization.

Role Responsibilities 

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Building and maintaining detailed corporate financial models integrated with data sources for forecasting, reporting, and ad-hoc requests for strategic decision making with a focus on revenue, key revenue metrics, and sales pipeline.
  • Financial reporting to executive management, parent company (Corpay), and other subsidiary companies in the Corporate Payments division for GAAP requirements, performance management, and decision support.
  • Supporting annual budgeting cycle, working with executive and senior leadership teams to provide recommendations based on thorough analysis. Supporting Company quarterly and monthly forecasting deliverables and performance management.
  • Coordinating with department leaders to support business needs and initiative execution. Providing regular KPI performance management reports for departments and projects with variance explanations to annual plan, forecast, and prior periods.
  • Managing monthly process for financial close, forecasting revenue and associated costs, and other initiatives, including intra-month reporting, period-end accounting support, and reporting of variances for performance management.
  • Working with other members of the FP&A and Accounting teams to complete period end reporting and close deliverables while working within a tight close schedule.
  • Assisting in creating regular or scheduled reports for a variety of audiences on performance, forecast and budget. Enhancing reporting and modeling from discrete spreadsheets to consolidated financial tools and assisting with integrating and consolidating LOB financials.
  • Assisting with implementation and testing of new tools and ERP/EPM systems, revenue and pipeline modeling, business intelligence, integrated planning, and workflow automation.
  • Assisting with data migrations across business and corporate systems, partnering with engineers, analysts, and both functional and business partners.
  • Managing individual assignments, driving to best-in-class reporting, analysis, and execution. At times, execution and delivery of intra-company, cross-functional, and cross-entity processes and projects.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.  Preferred bachelor’s degree or experience in Finance or other quantitative field. 
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, financial analysis, FinOps, investment banking or capital markets functions in a related business environment. Prior experience in Finance.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, growing, rapidly changing environment, preferably in a payments, fintech, or SaaS company.
  • Experience around process efficiency, automation, financial transformation, ERP/EPM implementations, and architecture of financial and operational data is preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.  Experience working with query languages, ERP systems, and integrated financial planning tools, Database & ETL tools (e.g. Access, Azure, AWS, Alteryx, etc.) tools preferred.
  • Advanced Excel modeling skills including functions, Power Query, tables, data connections, pivot tables, and the preparation of summary analytics with charts, recommendations, and variance reporting.
  • Strong presentation building skills, the ability to communicate complex subject matter succinctly with visual appeal.
  • Experience managing and leading cross functional projects. Project management experience is a plus.

Financial Modeling — Knowledge of spreadsheet functionality, connecting data sources, scenario modeling, predictive analytics, revenue and economic modeling, projecting capital and operating expenses, headcount modeling, and interpreting contractual arrangements.  Ability to gather and interpret assumptions, data, and management inputs to synthesize into a company-wide headcount and financial forecast.

Administration and Management — Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, and process management. Detail oriented, analytical, and excellent organization skills.

Technology— Knowledge of computer hardware and software, including applications and data analysis tools. Use of integrated planning software, database products, data visualization, CRM software, GL accounting software, and phone systems.

Time, Resource and Task Management — Managing one's own time and the time of others. Assessing the value, importance, or quality of things or people. Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.

Critical Thinking and Persuasion— Using logic and reasoning to recognize details of situations, identify solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems. The ability to combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions.

English Language — Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Presentation skills with an ability to deliver financial data to leadership, partner with them to understand their needs, and recommend solutions.

Compliance — Knowledge of controls, systems, regulations, and process for the finance and accounting functions.

Creativity – Devise creative or innovative solutions to both existing and new problems as they arise. Document existing company processes and methodologies, identify inefficiencies and present and execute solutions.
