Sales Engineer

 

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Sales Engineer within our Corpay division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business. In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical expertise and sales, working as part of our sales team to demonstrate the value of our SaaS solutions. This role involves understanding our product portfolio, partner integrations, client needs, delivering compelling technical presentations, and providing pre-sales support to secure new business. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the airline operations software or with airline software sales/product roles.

. You will report directly to Hiring Manager and regularly collaborate with other teams and department.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Collaborating with the sales team to cultivate opportunities with commercial airline clients.
  • Conducting technical demonstrations and presentations of SaaS solutions, showcasing how they address client pain points.
  • Translating complex technical concepts into clear, business-oriented value propositions for airline stakeholders (e.g., operations, IT, and C-suite).
  • Gathering and analyzing client requirements to propose tailored software solutions.
  • Supporting RFPs, proof-of-concept implementations, and pilot projects to demonstrate product capabilities.
  • Acting as a trusted technical advisor to clients, addressing questions and concerns throughout the sales cycle.
  • Coordinating with product and IT teams regarding partner integrations, relay client feedback and influence product enhancements.
  • Staying updated on airline industry trends, competitor/partner offerings, and emerging technologies

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the airline industry or in sales/product roles for airline software solutions.
  • Proven track record as a Sales Engineer or similar role, preferably in SaaS or technology sales.
  • Strong understanding of airline operations, IT systems, or software platforms used in the aviation sector (e.g., passenger service systems, flight operations systems, crew management systems).
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to translate client needs into technical requirements and articulate solutions effectively.
  • Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients or attend industry events.
  • Familiarity with SaaS sales processes is a plus.

 This salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range varies depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs.  The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets.  At Corpay, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  An estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $115,000.00-$123,000.00.
