What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Card Services Specialist within our TA Connections division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is located in Wichita, KS. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and reconciling credit card charges for various card programs that have been issued to vendors. This position will also provide instruction and support to internal parties as well as the vendor for the credit card program they utilize. The Card Services Specialist will have highly developed customer service, data entry, analytical, reconciliation skills and problem resolution. You will report directly to the Director, Hotel Compliance and regularly collaborate with other teams and managers.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Assisting the accounting department in coordinating payments to the credit card company and vendors after the client has been invoiced
  • Resolving discrepancies on variances between authorized amounts and processed charges
  • Working with credit card issuer to dispute discrepancies on invalid or overcharged amounts
  • Maintaining ongoing support to vendors with inquiries of card payment services
  • Developing and maintaining a professional relationship with vendors
  • Overseeing open commitments for reservations with single use credit cards that have not been charged and/or AP Direct authorizations that have not been charged
  • Reissuing AP Direct single use credit cards, as necessary
  • Maintaining spreadsheets to track postings and reconciliations
  • Understanding of foreign currencies and exchange rates
  • Reporting fraud or misuse of card use to management immediately as well as working with card issuers to protect the company from continual fraud attempts
  • Providing reports to internal management
  • Implementing any new card program initiatives as assigned by management
  • Working on special projects when assigned by management
  • Monitoring credit balances that are nearing expiration
  • Providing company-wide support for card processing issues related to any HMT vouchers, international vouchers, hotel reservations, transportation reservations, and direct bill issued payments for both TAC and HC vendors. *Other sources to be included as added.
  • Maintaining and managing airline static cards in Comdata and WEX. Ensuring cards are replaced timely to avoid fraudulent transactions. This includes monitoring transactions daily.
  • Providing voucher and/or card redemption statuses as requested
  • Supporting all credit card hotels via email (credit card remittance), Virtual Pay, Expanded Network, VC Reservation from Internal and External Sources, including emails from Hotels, HAMs and CFGs
  • Generating and publishing the VP over under report for AHMs (weekly)
  • Generating and publishing the VP Expiring report for HAMs (Monthly)
  • Virtual Pay – Setting up new and modifying existing hotels
  • Virtual Pay – Supporting (Credit card remittance box)
  • Virtual Pay – Working dispute lists sent by finance
  • QuickPay – Setting up new and modifying existing hotels
  • QuickPay – sending weekly remittances
  • QuickPay – Researching QP inquiries
  • QuickPay - Scanning QP agreements

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Two years of college or university program certificate; or two years of related job experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior experience with credit reconciliation or implementation preferred
  • Ability to read company procedures.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers. The ability to solve problems.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • The employee must have the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Internet, 10-key and typing skills
  • Exceptional analytical and reconciliation skills
  • Outstanding multi-tasking and prioritization skills
  • Proven ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
  • Strong listening skills
