What We Need
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and efficient Senior FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. This individual will be responsible for conducting complex financial analysis, preparing forecasts and budgets, and providing actionable insights to drive business decision-making. The ideal candidate should have advanced analytical skills, an eye for detail, and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment. They will collaborate closely with business leaders and cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Leading the financial planning process, including short-term and long-term forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis for the assigned business units.
- Variance Analysis: Regularly monitoring financial performance and explain variances from budget and forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Performing both quantitative and qualitative analysis, providing data-driven insights to support business strategies and decisions.
- Financial Modeling: Developing financial models for new business opportunities, pricing strategies, and long-term business planning.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Working closely with department heads and business leaders to ensure accurate financial reporting and improve financial performance.
- Reporting: Creating and presenting financial reports to senior management, providing strategic recommendations and insights.
- Business Intelligence: Utilizing advanced analytical tools and techniques to analyze large datasets and support business intelligence efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in an FP&A or financial analyst role, with a proven track record in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling; familiarity with Power BI and business intelligence tools is a plus.
- Experience in Planful preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex data and communicate findings clearly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present financial information to senior executives.
- Highly adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering accurate, actionable financial insights.
