ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Facility Manager leads all Facilities duties for CorePower Yoga including, overseeing multiple facility specialists. Who manage repairs and maintenance service tickets, capital project management, rental program, and vendor management for day-to-day maintenance. This position reports to the Senior Director of Design & Construction and is responsible for the facility team’s overall performance and for meeting facility specific financial goals The role is responsible for maintaining a strategic view of our portfolio of 220+ corporate studios and must have a “continuous improvement” mindset. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams including operations, real estate, legal and accounting to support our growing portfolio.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- Lead all aspects of the Facilities function including managing multiple direct reports (facilities specialists), day to day service tickets, ticketing platform, standardized reporting, capital & expense planning, and vendor management.
- Assists department leadership in developing the portfolio’s facility maintenance, repair, and capital expenditure strategy, including the techniques and procedures to achieve strategic goals.
- Support Facilities Specialists in reviewing leases and working with Real Estate team on Landlord vs Tenant responsibilities.
- Engage with Landlords on various maintenance requests (as needed)
- Engage with Legal and outside counsel to escalate facility, vendor and building issues (as needed)
- Closely monitor the operational and financial performance of the facility teams, perform root cause analysis of process, procedure, and program attribute to identify contribution to performance deficiencies; recommend resolutions to correct the facility maintenance.
- Enable and motivate team members to proactively develop and implement solutions to complex and challenging studio requirements that fall outside of standard procedures.
- Ability to prioritize workflow and develop process/systems to scale with operations and facilities and vendor base. Develops systems and processes to identify potential issues prior to escalation by studio managers and company leadership. Work with the facility specialists to ensure they resolve high priority issues; and escalate only the most sever issues to department leadership and include with the escalation communications actionable recommendations for solutions.
- Supervise the department’s capital project management functions including proposal, funding processes, and managing the completion of work.
- Supervise the facility management team to ensure they are enforcing the highest standards for quality and accuracy for service delivery, and stakeholder adherence to the company’s policies and procedures.
- Facilitate two-way flow of information between operational teams and studio and regional leadership by maintaining continuous effective communication, leading meetings, and providing complete and accurate reporting to department leadership.
- Create standard Weekly/Monthly Facilities reporting to share cross-functionally and with senior leadership.
- Assist in developing and using analytical tools to identify service trends and implement best practice strategies for service delivery and operating processes. Use insights from the data to identify opportunities for driving continuous improvement.
- Identify key facilities vendors and evaluate vendors on annual basis and adjust as necessary including RFP process. Mentor facility specialists to continuously develop their professional knowledge, skills, operational proficiency, communications, and leadership ability to improve performance and prepare them for increasing responsibility.
- Apply quantitative indicators as well as judgement and qualitative observation to review and assess facility manager performance; provides informal in-stride coaching and formal feedback at prescribed intervals.

- Performs ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned.

- Computer Skills: Advanced proficiencies in: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook required.
- with the ability to work with lease administration software and use Tableau or other data visualization packages is a plus.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in facility management, business administration or related field
- 7 - 10 years of Facilities and/or project management work experience required
- 5+ years of people management experience required.
Other Relevant Qualifications
-
- Experience managing multi-unit retail portfolios.
- Managing services covered by a lease agreement and understanding which responsibilities are the duty of the landlord and the tenant.
- Experience in facilities management, maintenance management, property management, building engineering, maintenance trades, or related fields.
COMPENSATION
- Salary Range: $100,000-120,000
- Bonus Potential: Up to $15% of annual salary
