Senior Designer, Little Simon & Simon Spotlight

Simon & Schuster Children's publishing seeks a Senior Designer to work with our Little Simon & Simon Spotlight imprints.

Responsibilities include designing up to 35 unique books per year in multiple formats, including novelty and board books, early readers, chapter books, and picture books. This involves collaboration with editors, licensors, and other designers on projects; conceptualizing cover ideas; commissioning art; and executing their ideas into the final cover and interior of each book, as well as working with our Production team through proofing process and color correction to finished book.

Qualifications: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator especially); Excellent communication skills. 5+ years relevant experience.
