The Impact You Will Make
This is an excited opportunity as a Advanced Manufacturing Specialist to lead the manufacturing responsibilities for the NPI (New Product Introduction) teams to scale up products / processes that meet our manufacturing strategies and objectives. You will also be working with our contract manufacturing facilities globally and a diverse supplier base to drive quality and service improvement, cost reduction, lead-time reduction and strategic Source of Supply changes. This position requires a strong understanding of injection molding and tooling needed for products.
Skills and Contributions

- Well versed in injection molding discipline (part design, materials, mold design/construction, processing, and presses).
- Experienced design for manufacture/assembly.
- Understanding process scale requirements from R&D through commercial supply.
- Familiar with key measurement technologies utilized in injection molding.
- Able to mediate between the needs of the product design and the capability of manufacturing.
- History of successful scaleup, qualification, and management of tooling and molding suppliers in a regulated market.

- Develops multiple aspects of a project plan related to a specific aspect of the project.
- Identifies more critical activities in the project plan and adjusts priorities when appropriate.
- Possesses an advanced understanding of the project lifecycle and is able to apply knowledge when leading a team through a project.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- B.S. degree in an engineering field or equivalent applicable industry experience.
- 5+ years of experience in the development of manufacturing processes or sustainable manufacturing in the Drug and Medical Device industry.
- Injection molding experience needed
- Effective use of problem-solving tools to determine root cause and solution implementation.
- Ability to use CAD to determine if tooling, equipment, and part designs meet requirements.
- Understanding of LEAN principles and process capability; Green Belt or Black Belt trained preferred.
- Clear and concise verbal, written and presentation communication.
- Demonstrated ability to create technical documents.
- Domestic and International Travel to Kindeva and Outsourced Manufacturing facilities may be required to support business needs.
